Service Level Requirement

The Service Level Requirement (SLR) is the requirement of a client to an IT service, based on the business objectives and it's used to negotiate the service level targets.

This feature provides a variety of actions, such as including, changing, and deleting a service level requirement.

Before getting started

To register a service level requirement, it is necessary to previously register an employee.

Procedure

Access the functionality Service Level Requirement through the main menu Processes > Service Level Management > Service Level Request;

Searching SLR

It will appear the filters available to search for the SLR in case you want to find an SLR already created or editing one.

Filter

Description

Subject

You can search by the subject of the SLR, described in the creation phase

Situation

You can search by the status of the SLR: Active, Inactive, Planning, or Under Review

Once you use the filters to search for the SLR, it will appear in the list below the filters, showing its Subject and Situation. The actions available for the SLR are:

If you want to change or view any information on the SLR. The fields are the same as the creation

Delete

If you want to delete the SLR

Registering/Editing SLR

Click on "New" to create a new SLR or on "Edit" to edit the information of an SLR already created

Requested in (*)

Set the date when the request was made

Situation (*)

Select the status of the request. We have the options: Active, Inactive, Planning and Under Review

Subject (*)

Inform the subject of the SLR

Detail (*)

Give all the details about the service level requirement you are creating

(*) Indicate mandatory fields

Saving SLR

Once you complete all the information necessary for the SLR, you will have the following actions:

Create SLA from this Requirement

This field appears when the SLR is already created and you want to edit it. It is possible to create an SLA already linked to the SLR

Save

To create the SLR or to change it when you are editing an SLR

Clear

To return the fields to the default

Delete

To delete the SLR
