Registering Continuity Risk Evaluation
Continuity Registration is a process that passes through several phases. The second phase of this process is called Requirements and Strategies, where the vital functions, business impact analysis, risk evaluation, and continuity strategy will be set. This functionality allows registering the risk evaluation.
Before getting started
It is necessary the existence of a defined service in the process of Portfolio and Catalog Management.
It is also necessary to have registered the Continuity Registration, policy, and continuity project of a service already defined, in addition to having registered the scope, vital functions, and impact analysis of continuity business.
You will need to register previously the threat, threat category and link both of them.
Besides, have registered the automatic action of Incident, request, and procedure about the Event Management.
Procedure
- Access the functionality through the main menu Processes > Continuity Management > Continuity;
- Find the continuity you want to link the evaluations of the risks and click on "Advance";
- In Requirements and Strategies, click on "Risks Assessment". Here you can add possible scenarios for the risks. We have the following functions:

Add scenery | To add a possible scenery of risk. Complete the mandatory fields: Name and vital function |
Add service | To add a service (available for your profile) to the risk. You can delete it too |
Add risk | Select the risk you want to link. Once linked to the risk, it is possible to Select a threat or Add a Threat. When adding a threat, complete the mandatory fields: Threat Name and Threat Category. Next to the Treats tab, there's the Treatment Plans to add a treatment plan for the risk |
4. Click on "Save".
