Registering Impact Analysis in the Continuity Business
Continuity Registration is a process that passes through several phases. The second phase of this process is called Requirements and Strategies, where the vital Functions, business impact analysis, risks evaluation, and continuity strategy will be set. This functionality allows registering the business impact analysis.
Before getting started
The existence of a defined service in the process of Portfolio and Catalog Management.
It is also necessary to have registered the Continuity Registration, policy, and continuity project of a service already defined. In addition to having registered the scope and vital functions.
You will need to have registered the threat, threat category, and link both of them.
Besides, previously register the automatic action of Incident, request, and procedure about the Event Management.
Procedure
- Access the functionality through the main menu Processes > Continuity Management > Continuity;
- Find the continuity you want to link to the impact analysis and click on "Advance";
- In the tab Requirements and Strategies, click on "Business Impact Analysis";
- Click on "Select Vital Function" to search and link the vital function you want;
- Once selected the Vital Function, click on the icon "+" and complete the fields.

Strategy 1,2 and 3 | Describe the strategies for each one of them |
6. Click on "Save".
