Automatic Actions for the Incident / Request Management Process

Some events will present a situation in which the most appropriate action will be to handle them with the incident management process. This functionality is intended to register the automatic actions for the incident/request process. This registration will be associated with the automatic actions, where it will be used in the registration of 4biz event managers Nagios, Zabbix, Inventory, and Correlated Event.

The event management supports the incident management process because it allows for the detection and prompt solution of early failures in a service, therefore avoiding service unavailability for the end-user.

This feature provides a variety of actions, such as adding, changing, and deleting incident/request process automatic actions.

Before getting started

To register an automatic action for the request/incident process, it's necessary to previously register the unit, group, contract, link group to contract, associating the requester (employees) already related to this group, to list the contracts and request related in the request screen, define the service portfolio, the time of attendance and periodic activity group.

Procedure

  1. Access the functionality through the main menu System > Automatic Actions > Incident/Request/Procedure Actions;
  2. Fill in the available fields;
  3. Click on "Save".
