\accessing activities\ to access activities , follow these steps open the my desk application from the application menu click on settings in the top menu click on portfolios in the side menu select a portfolio from the list to view its related services select a service from the list to see all registered activities by clicking the expand icon (downward arrow) next to the portfolio, all activities linked to the selected service will be displayed \activity list\ when you click the arrow to expand a service, the list of activities for that service will be displayed the activity list shows all registered activities clicking the gear icon (⚙️) will open a screen similar to the activity creation screen, allowing you to edit any information or delete that activity \ activity research in the upper left corner of the screen there is a search bar where you can search for services and activities see the image below \ filter activities on the right side of the new service button, you can filter activities by linked and unlinked \create an activity\ to create an activity, follow these steps click the + new service button a new window will appear on the right side of the screen, similar to the portfolio creation screen fill in the following information icon – choose an icon from the database you can browse by category or use the search field by typing the name name – enter a short name for your new activity description – describe the purpose of your activity service type – select between request and incident from the dropdown menu cancel/save – click save to create the activity, or cancel to return to the list \edit an activity\ to edit an activity, follow the steps below click on the activity; a window will appear on the right side of the screen, similar to the portfolio creation screen edit the desired information icon choose a new icon from the database; name edit or choose a new name for your activity; description rewrite or edit the description of your activity; service type change the dropdown menu between request and incident access the form docid\ zr2xotvgkcvtli9gxfpks or activity link docid 1gdc3ubpz8dx46kzouc b pages to learn more about creating or changing forms and links cancel/save click save to save the changes to the activity, or cancel to return to the list \delete an activity\ to delete an activity, follow the steps below click on the activity ; a window will appear on the right side of the screen click on the trash can button located in the upper right corner of the window; a message will appear asking if you are sure about the deletion, as this action cannot be undone; click on delete ; a confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen
